Cheshire Gritstone Trail
The Cheshire Gritstone Trail is a long-distance footpath in England split into three stages. The first stage, in length, leads from Disley to Tegg's Nose; the second, of length , from Tegg's Nose to Timbersbrook, is the best for obtaining a close look at gritstone scenery. The final stage of runs from Timbersbrook to Kidsgrove. There is an unofficial extension from Kidsgrove to the mainline railway station at Stoke-on-Trent, ''The Kidsgrove to Stoke Ridgeway'', which is available as a free ebook.
The official trail is waymarked with yellow discs with a footprint inscribed 'G'.
